Job summary

Transdev North America in Riverside, CA is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee road service by coordinating with Operators and providing customer support to clients. The role emphasizes safety and reliability.

Key duties include tracking trip performance, handling trip questions (no shows, cancellations), managing emergencies, and adjusting daily service as needed. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3–5 years dispatching experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• DOT drug testing and physical if applicable per DOT 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance, start routes on time, monitor performance and incidents.
• Provide customer support by addressing questions and concerns regarding trips (no shows, cancellations, missed trips).
• Manage emergencies for vehicle operators and liaise with carriers and emergency services.
• Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to issues affecting customer service.
• Other duties as required.
