Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. is hiring Inspectors and Technicians for NCDOT and other transportation projects in the southeast NC region. The role focuses on construction inspection, field testing, and quality control across roadway and bridge work.

You will work with a cross-functional team, perform tests, report findings, and assist engineers in the field with soil and materials investigations. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing on NCDOT projects.
• Familiarity with highway construction specifications and field experience.
• Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utility construction inspection/testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection services for earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and utilities for NCDOT and local clients.
• Field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Inspect and report on concrete pours, rebar placement, pipe replacements, and sample construction materials.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Assist Engineers in field during soil and materials investigations.
