Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing on NCDOT projects.
• Familiarity with highway construction specifications and field experience.
• Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utility construction engineering services and inspection/testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection services for earthwork, concrete, asphalt and utility construction for NCDOT and clients.
• Conduct field testing of soils, concrete and asphalt and prepare reports.
• Inspect and sample construction materials and verify plan quantities.
• Assist Engineers in the field during soil and materials investigations.
• Maintain project records and communicate findings to the team.
