Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Inspectors and Technicians to provide construction inspection services for NCDOT, municipal, and private clients. Work includes field and laboratory testing, earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and utility construction with travel in central NC region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing on NCDOT projects.
• Familiarity with highway construction specifications and field experience.
• Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utility construction inspection/testing.
• Field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt and aggregates.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction engineering technician services for earthwork, concrete, asphalt and utility construction.
• Conduct field testing on roadway/bridge projects and sample materials.
• Inspect and report on concrete pours, rebar placement, pipe work, etc.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Assist Engineers in soil and materials investigations in the field.
• Ensure QC/QA and contract-doc verifications are followed.
