Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing on NCDOT projects.
• Familiarity with highway construction specifications and field experience is preferred.
• Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utility construction inspection/testing.
• Experience with field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, masonry, structural steel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection services related to earthwork, concrete, asphalt and utility construction for NCDOT and clients.
• Perform engineering and construction field testing on roadway/bridge projects.
• Inspect and report on concrete pours, rebar placement and pipe replacements.
• Inspect and sample construction materials and maintain project records.
