Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. (ESI) is seeking a Plant Operator for our New Lexington, Ohio RNG facility. You will work with Plant Manager to operate and maintain the plant, maximize production, and ensure safety.

The role involves learning SCADA, performing routine and non-routine maintenance, and supporting a small team. You will diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, document events in ODMS, assist with permits/compliance, and help train fellow operators.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of Plant operations experience.
• Trade school certification or high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to read PFDs and electrical schematics.
• Ability to use basic troubleshooting tools (multimeters, thermography, gas testing).
• Basic Windows skills and Microsoft Office familiarity.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and equipment safely and orderly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems; remote and onsite support available.
• Optimize SCADA usage for predictive and proactive operations.
• Perform maintenance on major/auxiliary equipment and track events in ODMS.
• Follow SOPs; ensure compliance with regulations and permits.
• Assist training of coworkers and travel to support other plants as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team, customers, vendors, and leadership.
• Support maintenance planning and KPI reporting.
