Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. (ESI) seeks a Plant Operator for the New Lexington, Ohio RNG facility. You will work with the Plant Manager to run the plant, perform routine and non-routine maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient operations. A strong willingness to learn and a safety-focused mindset are essential.

You will be part of a small onsite team, rotating shifts, and may travel to other plants or the corporate office. DOT testing and a valid driver's license are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of Plant operations and related experience.
• Trade school certification or high school diploma/GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
• Ability to read basic Process Flow Diagrams and Electrical Schematics.
• Basic troubleshooting tools: multimeters, thermographic, gas testing equipment.
• Basic Windows-based computer skills and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all equipment safely, including housekeeping and minor fabrication.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; remote and onsite support available.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment (pumps, compressors, gas treatment, etc.).
• Use ODMS to track events, data, and daily readings.
• Follow compliance regulations, maintain permits, and support inspectors.
• Respond to plant callouts within approximately 2 hours.
• Assist with training of coworkers or temporary Operators.
• Travel to assist other Plants or for training.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to SOP development.
