Regency at Westland in Michigan is seeking an RN Unit Manager to provide leadership and oversight for a nursing unit, ensuring safe, resident-centered care aligned with regulations and standards.

You will mentor staff, coordinate daily operations, and support residents and families while maintaining a collaborative care environment. A BSN is preferred and a minimum of two years in long-term care, with supervisory experience, is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care or post-acute setting.
• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs/STNAs.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires and trains staff; plan and direct workflow; assign work; evaluate staff performance.
• Schedule and adjust breaks; handle staff replacements; monitor job performance; manage discipline as needed.
