Regency at Westland in Michigan is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee resident care during assigned shifts under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The role provides clinical supervision to CNAs/STNAs and ensures continuity of care for residents.

You will supervise CNAs/STNAs, plan and direct work based on resident needs, and coordinate staffing while maintaining compliance with regulations and facility policies in a compassionate, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Ability to supervise CNAs/STNAs and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
