Job summary

Regency at Westland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide, oversee, and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts, ensuring quality care and safety. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans while supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other team members to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred
• CPR certification required or within 90 days of employment
• Supervisory ability over LPNs/CNAs as applicable

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
