Job summary

The role partners with an interdisciplinary team, conducts assessments, develops care plans, and supports staff with patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. On-call availability and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing preferred.
• Valid RN state license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and manages clinical services for the nursing unit.
• Assesses and evaluates systems to facilitate quality resident care.
• Facilitates resolution of issues related to resident care including family concerns.
• Implements and evaluates nursing procedures and systems for unit programming.
• Makes nursing diagnoses that guide care delivery.
• Performs nursing assessments of residents/patients.
• Develops and implements care plans; provides health education to patients and families.
• Participates in quality assurance activities.
• Adheres to scope of practice limitations.
• Completes required forms per policy and regulations.
• May perform general nursing duties during emergencies or shortages.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
