MediLodge of Livingston seeks a Unit Manager Registered Nurse to lead an entire nursing unit in a long-term care facility. You will direct staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR as applicable, and at least three years of nursing experience, with one year in a long-term care setting. Administrative duties include staffing, education, QA participation, and patient care planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) (state requirements may apply).
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of a nursing unit, ensuring quality care and safety.
• Hire, discipline, and evaluate nursing staff as needed.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care issues.
• Ensure staffing levels meet resident needs and budgetary controls.
• Develop and conduct educational programs for staff and ongoing QA participation.
• Coordinate with physicians for timely interventions and chart/documentation accuracy.
• Develop patient care plans and allocate resources for effective care.
