Ciena Healthcare in Detroit is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring safe, high‑quality, resident‑centered care in compliance with regulations and facility policies.

Join our clinical leadership team to mentor staff, coordinate workflow, schedule assignments, and support residents, families, and team members in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care or post-acute setting.
• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role preferred.
• Working knowledge of nursing practice, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs and CNAs/STNAs.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Interviews, hires and trains employees; plans and directs workflow; assigns work.
• Prepares evaluations and handles disciplinary actions; manages staffing rotations and breaks.
• Monitors performance and resolves staff issues; ensures resident safety and quality care.
