Ciena Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate resident care during assigned shifts, supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, and ensure plans meet federal and state standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while maintaining safety and high-quality outcomes.

The role is on-site, full-time, with competitive benefits including health coverage, a 401(k) plan with matching funds, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement. CPR certification is required.

Formación

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
