Job summary

Royalton Manor, operated by Ciena Healthcare in Michigan, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans while ensuring safety and quality, and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
