Ciena Healthcare is seeking an RN Unit Manager for Christian Park Village in Michigan to lead daily nursing unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, resident-centered care in alignment with regulations and facility policies.

You will mentor and resource the nursing team, fostering a collaborative environment for residents, families, and staff. A sign-on bonus of USD 15,000 is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care or post-acute setting.
• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role preferred.
• Working knowledge of nursing practice, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Supervises nursing care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs/STNAs.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in line with policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires and trains staff; plans and directs workflow; prepares work assignments.
• Receives calls and finds replacements for absent staff; transfers staff as needed.
• Prepares evaluations; schedules breaks; manages employee relations and discipline.
• Monitors and corrects job performance; manages rotation of nurses within unit.
