Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our designated unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, clear communication, and a commitment to a patient-centered culture.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating admissions and discharges with the interdisciplinary team, conducting unit rounds

Formación

• Current and active RN License.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; prior leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a nursing team.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support nursing staff.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct regular unit rounds to monitor quality of care, infection control, and safety.
• Respond to nursing emergencies and provide guidance to staff.
• Be available for on-call coverage approximately one weekend per month.
