Job summary

NHC HealthCare Lewisburg is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Unit Manager RN. This role provides clinical leadership for an assigned nursing unit, supports nursing partners, and helps ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients and residents.

Key responsibilities include day-to-day leadership, coordinating plans of care, and collaborating with the care team to maintain high standards of care and survey readiness. Sign-on bonus offered with eligibility rules.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (TN) or a valid multi-state license that permits TN practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for the assigned unit.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of individualized plans of care.
• Review changes in condition and ensure timely clinical follow-up.
• Coach, support, and provide direction to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor documentation, medication and treatment practices, and nursing standards compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary team members, patients, residents, and families.
• Support staffing, workflow, quality improvement, infection prevention, and survey readiness activities.
• Promote a culture of compassionate care, teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
