Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and oversee daily clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility.

This role emphasizes resident-centered care, leadership of RNs, LPNs, and aides, and compliance with Massachusetts regulations. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current, active MA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous nursing leadership or unit management experience preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Respiratory or pulmonary care experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable long-term care regulations and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants.
• Coordinate resident care plans and collaborate with physicians, the Medical Director, rehabilitation professionals, social services, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor residents' conditions and ensure appropriate assessment, documentation, communication, and follow-up.
• Promote compliance with Massachusetts regulations, applicable federal requirements, facility policies, and established nursing standards.
• Support infection prevention, medication safety, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding care needs and concerns.
• Address clinical issues and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing, accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
