Job summary

The RN Unit Manager will supervise staff, implement care standards, and act as a liaison with residents and families while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Two years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience.
• Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervises subordinates to maintain resident care standards in QA, infection control, and utilization review.
• Receives physicians' instructions and communicates orders to other units.
• Oversees delegation of nursing and other therapeutic procedures.
• Performs regular patient rounds to assess conditions and documents nursing observations.
