Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced Unit Manager to oversee day-to-day patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality care.

The role requires an RN license, 5+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a nurse supervisory role, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in state.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in healthcare; 1 year as supervisor.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient care and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure unit compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop policies and procedures; coordinate QA and QAPI.
• Recruit, orient, and train nursing staff.
• Manage budgets, equipment, and inventory.
• Coordinate emergency responses and liaise with physicians.
