Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is hiring a Unit Manager-RN in Concord, NH to lead a nursing unit and ensure delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate coverage and drive cost‑effective care across the unit.

You will mentor staff, work with physicians, and oversee medication management while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. A BSN or equivalent experience supports leadership in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience. BSN, two (2) years nursing experience.
• At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required.
• Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Join the nursing center management team as a Unit Manager - RN for the assigned unit.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, cost‑effective care and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to minimize rehospitalizations.
• Mentor nurses and educate staff; coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Oversee medication management and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide direct patient care alongside unit nurses.
