Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Unit Manager - RN to lead a nursing unit with a focus on high-quality, cost-effective care and positive outcomes.

You will work with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure care delivery aligns with the organization’s mission, policies, and regulatory requirements. You will mentor staff, oversee medication management, and participate in patient education and safety initiatives while maintaining licensure and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience.
• BSN, two (2) years nursing experience.
• At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required.
• Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing, implementing and evaluating ways to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, and serve as a resource to all staff within the nursing unit regarding the quality of services provided.
• Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with company policy
• Provide direct patient care along with the other unit nurses to maintain skills.
