Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff delivering direct resident care to ensure quality.
• Assist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Provide direct resident care per established plans.
• Complete data collection of residents' medical status on admission and during treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for assigned residents.
• Monitor resident record documentation compliance as directed.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and resolve grievances with families and staff.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage the staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit
• Assist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans
• Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the resident’s course of treatment
• Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements, as directed
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff, as needed, to resolve grievances

Qualifications
