Aviata at Tallahassee Gardens is seeking a Unit Manager RN to lead nursing staff on the assigned unit and ensure high-quality resident care in alignment with established plans.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in nursing administration.
• Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Managing staffing needs and supervising nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality care on the unit.
• Assist in staff development.
• Provide direct resident care per established plans.
• Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Data collection of residents’ medical status at admission and during treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and liaise with families and staff to resolve grievances.
• Complete Preceptor Training.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
