Job summary

Aviata is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Aviata at Tallahassee Gardens in Tallahassee, FL. This full-time position offers 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with four days off weekly and opportunities to advance clinical skills.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating resident care, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Newly licensed RNs are welcome to apply; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401k match, and online learning access.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• Caring, compassionate, and dedicated to high-quality care.

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care per standards of care and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Cooperates with facility personnel to coordinate resident care and ensure policy adherence.
• Supervises CNAs during shifts, assigns tasks, and trains new staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities - Registered Nurse

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.

• Follows established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.

• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Registered Nurse

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.

• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.

• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
