Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN Coordinator to facilitate patient transfers across facilities within the market. You will coordinate emergent and elective transfers, ensure timely bed placement, and maintain accurate patient data across systems.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, RN license (multi-state where applicable), and strong problem-solving and communication skills. 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends are typical in CPP transfer center operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• RN license in the states where the facilities are located.
• Multi-state license may be required if transferred centers cover more than one state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform transfer center functions with centralized patient placement.
• Coordinate transfer of emergent, urgent and elective patients to final destination facilities.
• Facilitate patient throughput with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Communicate with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Ensure accurate data collection in patient records and center systems.
