Qualifications

• BSN preferred; ADN or Diploma requires BSN within 60 months or 10 years RN experience.
• RN license to practice in Arizona; BLS certification required.
• 1 year RN experience; >10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following ANA standards and stroke protocols.
• Record medical history, perform diagnostics, administer meds, and manage IVs.
• Develop, implement, and update patient care plans with family involvement.
• Educate patients and families on home care, diet, exercise, and medications.
• Precept and supervise licensed staff; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluate outcomes to improve patient care and ensure cost-effective quality.
