The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica is seeking an RN Supervisor for weekend double shifts to join our team. This full-time role is based in Utica, NY and offers a starting pay of $50 per hour for weekend shifts.

You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure operational efficiency while upholding high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Formación

• Current NYS RN Licensure.
• Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or Med/Surg.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with patients, families, and staff to understand care needs.
• Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care requirements.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team.

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays
Starting pay: $50 hourly

Position Overview:

The Weekend RN Supervisor at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica plays a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care, overseeing staff, collaborating with physicians, and providing both physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with patients, families, and staff to understand care needs

• Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care requirements

• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families

• Answer questions and communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team

• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

• Follow and enforce infection control and medication safety policies

• Protect patient confidentiality at all times

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care

• Oversee medical equipment, including maintenance and repairs

• Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations

Requirements:

• Current NYS RN Licensure

• Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or Med/Surg

• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity (preferred)
