Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale is seeking an RN to supervise and coordinate care for stroke patients within the Complete Care unit. The role includes nurse leadership, staff development, and direct patient care aligned with the hospital’s mission and stroke protocols.

The ideal candidate has BSN and Arizona licensure, plus BLS certification and 2+ years of RN experience (3+ preferred). A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
• Arizona RN license to practice in the state.
• BLS / Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Stroke-specific education requirements referenced for magnet standards.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• Certification in related area within 1 year of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates patient care and staff development.
• Manages unit staffing; collaborates with physicians to implement medical plans.
• Provides direct patient care for stroke patients and uses NIHSS where applicable.
• Ensures compliance with policies and budgetary constraints.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans, home care, and self-management.
