Job summary

HonorHealth in Surprise, AZ is seeking a working supervisor RN for the Complete Care unit on the night shift (1845–0715). This role includes supervising staff, managing patient assignments and escalations while delivering direct patient care as needed and collaborating with physicians on care plans.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, an active Arizona RN license, BLS, and have 2 years RN experience (3 years preferred); ER RN experience is a plus. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an NLN/CCNE-accredited institution is required.
• Current Arizona nursing license or compact state licensure is required.
• AllStaff responsible for stroke patients must complete stroke education requirements.
• 2 years RN experience required; 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff, including hiring/onboarding, evaluating, performance management, coaching, and development.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and collaborates with physicians on the medical plan of care.
• Utilizes nursing process and evidence-based practice to monitor and improve patient outcomes.
• Directs staff in applying the nursing process and coordinating patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
