Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit-3W with Advanced Cardiac Care at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. Night shift supervision includes planning, coordinating, and evaluating patient care while aligning with the organization’s mission.

Required: BSN, AZ RN license, and 2 years RN experience; magnet certification within 1 year. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BSN from an NLN/CCNE-accredited program.
• Current Arizona nursing license or compact state licensure within 60 days of hire.
• 2 years RN experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Magnet standards: certification within 1 year of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care and staff development using the nursing process.
• Assist the Clinical Director in managing unit staff and patient population.
• Coordinate with physicians to implement the medical plan of care for stroke patients.
• Provide patient and family education on illness, post-treatment needs, and home care.
• Promote inter/intra departmental collaboration and quality improvement initiatives.
• Direct staff in applying the nursing process and ensuring independent functioning.
