Job summary

HonorHealth's stroke care unit in Arizona seeks an experienced RN to join the night shift team. You will supervise, assess, plan, and coordinate patient care while collaborating with physicians to implement the plan of care.

RN candidates must hold a BSN and Arizona licensure, with 2 years of RN experience and BLS. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants and magnet certification within 1 year is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience required.
• 3 years RN experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Arizona RN license required.
• BCLS/BLS certification required.
• Must obtain a magnet-related certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, coordinates, and evaluates patient care.
• Assists Clinical Director in unit management and staff development.
• Provide direct patient care per unit needs and collaborate with physicians.
• Educates staff on stroke care requirements and quality indicators.
• Contributes to recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Promotes quality improvement initiatives and uses nursing process.
