Job summary

Hc is seeking an RN Supervisor/Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement skills training and in-services for clinical staff; you will lead orientation, develop educational strategies, and coordinate with HR and community resources to meet staffing needs.

You will oversee competency evaluation for new hires, advise on progression from orientation or probation, and collaborate with HR on hiring processes and new employee files, ensuring quality education programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Professional Nurse’s license in Florida.
• Ability to make independent decisions and mature judgments.
• Prior Staff Development/Education experience preferred.
• Point Click Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement skills training programs/in-services for clinical staff and other departments; perform orientation classes.
• Develop educational strategies to facilitate quality improvement efforts.
• Coordinate with community resources to meet educational and staffing needs.
• Oversee the competency evaluation process for new employees.
• Recommend progression to permanent employment or extension of orientation/probation for new employees.
• Collaborate with HR regarding hiring processes and new employee files.
