Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead education for our nursing and support staff in a Florida facility. This role focuses on building a strong clinical team and ensuring staff have the training, knowledge, and support to deliver exceptional resident care.

You will plan educational programs, coordinate orientation for new hires, and conduct competency evaluations while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Previous Staff Development, Nurse Educator, or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement educational programs for nursing and support staff.
• Coordinate and lead new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Conduct competency evaluations and skills assessments.
• Organize and facilitate ongoing in-service education.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support infection prevention and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
