Job summary

Midtown Center for Health and Rehab is seeking an RN Educator to lead staff development, welcome new hires, and deliver engaging clinical education. The role focuses on orientation, training, and ensuring staff are prepared, empowered, and appreciated from day one.

You will partner with leadership to support recruitment and create engaging employee activities, influencing positive resident care and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and teaching principles in a clinical setting.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care for residents.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire orientation and serve as first point of contact for new teammates.
• Develop and deliver clinical education programs and in-service training for staff.
• Assess educational needs and design training to support competency and growth.
• Maintain documentation of education, training, competencies, and attendance.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with quality outcomes and goals.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and representing the center to candidates.
• Promote employee engagement and recognition activities across the staff.
• Model exceptional customer service and professional communication.
