Job summary

PACS is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities during the shift, ensuring care meets federal, state, and local standards. You will supervise staff, coordinate resident care, and report to the Director of Nursing.

You will participate in training, performance evaluations, and quality assurance initiatives, and ensure timely response to emergencies and changes in residents' conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the shift.
• Coordinate and participate in resident care and IV administration.
• Oversee and coach LVN/LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Respond promptly to call signals and emergencies.
• Conduct rounds and provide comprehensive reports to the DON/ADON.
