Job summary

PACS is seeking an RN Nursing Administrator to lead the nursing service department in a long-term care facility. The role requires directing day-to-day nursing activities, updating policies, and maintaining current reference materials to ensure quality resident care.

You will develop procedures, monitor compliance, and report to the Director. Collaboration with other departments and participation in committee activities are essential components of the job.

Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Current RN license in the state with CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Develop, maintain and update policies for the nursing service department.
• Ensure reference materials are current at nurses' stations and accessible.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual reflects daily nursing procedures.
• Make regular reports to the Director regarding nursing operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
