Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. in Colchester, CT seeks an RN Supervisor (Registered Nurse) for the 11pm–7am shift. This full-time role includes every-other-weekend requirements and dedicated opportunities for advancement within a compassionate long-term care environment.

You will oversee care planning, supervise staff, liaise with families and the interdisciplinary team, and ensure documentation accuracy. A CT nursing license, leadership ability, and the willingness to grow professionally are essential.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: implement and revise care plans and monitor health conditions.
• Staff Oversight & Scheduling: supervise assignments, ensure coverage, and lead staff.
• Family & Team Liaison: communicate changes to families and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Documentation: audit records, transcribe orders, and ensure accuracy of medical charges.
• Family, Resident, Staff Education: explain health status and guide care interventions.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning: Assist to implement & revise care plans, monitors health conditions, supplements direct care needs & responds to emergencies or changes in status

Staff Oversight & Scheduling: Observes care assignments, manages coverage needs, evaluates staff performance, educate & lead staff

Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team

Documentation: Reviews and investigates incidents, transcribes orders, audits medical charges and maintains record compliance for accuracy

Family, Resident, Staff Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care, guides and direct care skills with intervention as needed
