Job summary

Complete Care at Fox Hill in Vernon, CT seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations for residents requiring long-term care and post-acute services.

You will oversee care planning, supervise staffing, and coordinate with families and the interdisciplinary team while ensuring documentation accuracy. CT license, leadership abilities, and a passion for quality resident care are essential. This role offers opportunities for advancement and a supportive work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in CT.
• Prior long-term care experience required.
• Strong leadership and clinical skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: implement and revise care plans, monitor health conditions, respond to emergencies.
• Staff Oversight & Scheduling: supervise assignments, ensure coverage, evaluate performance, mentor staff.
• Family & Team Liaison: communicate changes to families and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Documentation: review incidents, transcribe orders, audit charges and ensure record accuracy.
• Education: explain health status and care expectations to families, residents and staff.

Here's What You'll Do for Our Residents & Facility:

Care Needs & Planning: Assist to implement & revise care plans, monitors health conditions, supplements direct care needs & responds to emergencies or changes in status

Staff Oversight & Scheduling: Observes care assignments, manages coverage needs, evaluates staff performance, educate & lead staff

Documentation: Reviews and investigates incidents, transcribes orders, audits medical charges and maintains record compliance for accuracy

Family, Resident, Staff Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care, guides and direct care skills with intervention as needed
