Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA seeks an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. Part Time Nights (2 x 12 hour shifts) with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. Unit: PCU/Stepdown, 24 beds, strong teamwork, and state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, executing the plan, and coordinating with staff and physicians. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are highlighted in our total rewards program.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient assessments collecting data on physical/psychosocial history.
• Evaluates developmental age to plan education and care.
• Organizes data into a plan of care and identifies outcomes.
• Carries out plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides resources.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the chart.
