Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This part-time night shift offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and opportunities to work with a dedicated team in a 24-bed PCU.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and coordination with the care team. We value autonomy, teamwork, and evidence-based practice, with strong support for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• New Graduates eligible for PRN positions; Bachelor's degree preferred; Advanced certification in field optional.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments including data collection.
• Evaluates developmental age during assessments and education.
• Organizes patient data into a plan of care and identifies outcomes.
• Carries out plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Delivers care appropriate to patient severity and needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides patient education resources.
• Communicates issues to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager and/or physician.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the chart.
