Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans and provides educational programs on all shifts.
• Participates in the staff evaluation process.
• Provides general facility orientation to new employees.
• Plans and provides a monthly and annual schedule of education programs.
• Ensures CNAs meet the annual 12-hour in-service requirement.
• Actively participates in quality assurance.
