The role emphasizes mentorship, program development, and fostering continuous learning. Delaware RN licensure, strong communication, and experience delivering engaging training for healthcare staff are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware RN license is required.
• Experience in staff development or education in healthcare.
• Knowledge of state and federal training requirements.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs.
• Experience in nursing home or long-term care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee staff orientation and in-service training programs.
• Ensure certifications and training are up-to-date.
• Assess staff training needs and create programs.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with department heads to align training with facility goals.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
