PowerBack Rehabilitation in Milford, DE seeks an RN educator to lead staff development and education programs in patient care and nursing center practices. You will supervise orientation, conduct annual competency testing, and evaluate staff performance to ensure high clinical standards.

The role emphasizes gerontology familiarity and adult-learning training, with oversight of Employee Health initiatives including vaccinations for all employees. A strong nursing background is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license from an accredited school of nursing.
• Excellence in clinical nursing skills required.
• Experience in gerontology preferred.
• Training and/or experience in adult learning preferred.

Responsabilités

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Develop education programs and teach staff established patient care and nursing center practices.
• Supervise and monitor new nursing employees during orientation.
• Perform annual competency testing and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Oversee Employee Health Program including TB/hepatitis vaccines and influenza immunizations for all employees.
