Signature HealthCARE of Norfolk is seeking a dedicated Staff Development Coordinator to lead training for nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance resident care. The role requires RN licensure, 3+ years clinical experience in health care (long-term care preferred), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with required current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care setting preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing department staff.
• Regularly assess CNA skill performance and provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide training to new staff to address deficiencies before patient care.
