Job summary

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator to lead staff education, orientation, and ongoing training to ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will collaborate with department heads to align training with facility goals, design engaging programs, and drive a culture of continuous learning across the team. Prior experience in long-term care is a plus, with strong organizational and communication skills expected.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Delaware.
• Experience in staff development or training in healthcare.
• Knowledge of state and federal training requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging training programs.
• Experience in nursing home or senior care is a plus.
• Strong organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee staff orientation and in-service training programs.
• Ensure all required certifications and training are up-to-date for staff.
• Assess staff training needs and create programs to address them.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure training needs align with facility goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
