Job summary

Tandem Living in Lancaster, PA, seeks a Staff Development Manager (RN) to lead clinical education across Nursing, Personal Care, and Residential Living teams. You will design, implement, and monitor comprehensive training programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee onboarding for licensed staff.

The role emphasizes hands-on CPR, Train-the-Trainer certification, and ongoing professional development within a five-star facility setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification required and willingness to maintain hands-on CPR certification.
• Three to five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a long-term care setting required.
• Prior nursing management experience preferred.
• Previous teaching and/or staff training experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain Train-the-Trainer Certification for Medication Technician (Med Tech) training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the LPN Clinical Educator and RN Staff Educator, fostering teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive education and training programs for Nursing, Personal Care, and Residential Living team members, while ensuring accurate training records and regulatory compliance.
• Design and deliver engaging, interactive learning experiences, including new hire orientation, clinical education, in-service training, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Lead orientation and onboarding programs for licensed nursing staff, including EMR training, job-specific competencies, and role-based education to support a successful transition into practice.
• Collaborate with Nursing Leadership to assess educational needs, analyze quality and clinical outcomes data, and develop targeted training initiatives that enhance resident care and support regulatory standards.
• Oversee employee health and compliance programs, including annual training completion, TB testing, Hepatitis B immunization tracking, influenza vaccination administration, and other staff health requirements.
