Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, and direct in-service education in compliance with laws and Life Care standards. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing diploma, and CPR certification, with preferred teaching experience.

You will lead staff education programs, maintain training records, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
• Active RN license in good standing throughout employment.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
