Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education in accordance with laws and Life Care standards. The role emphasizes training nursing staff, maintaining records, and ensuring quality patient care in a post-acute facility.

The position requires an active RN license, a nursing diploma, and teaching/education experience; CPR is required on hire or during orientation.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing required.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in emergency evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and good judgment.
